Welcome to Course 4: Scoping and Costing Your Projects! As the title suggests, this course will focus on helping you respond to requests for pricing on specific projects. Our emphasis here will be on accurately scoping the work and estimating the costs. If you don't scope your projects correctly, you could end up losing money and/or failing to take into account all of your client's needs, most of which are not articulated by the client explicitly. The former could lead your business to an early exit and the latter could cause you to lose clients and/or future work, which also will eventually lead to the demise of your fledgling consulting business. Of all the sections of the Pricing Your Services program, this is probably the most critical to your business' success, so eat your Wheaties!
